Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to speak Turkish?
No. All courses are taught in English, and our local partners (guides, artisans, hotel staff) are used to working with international visitors.
What's included in the course fee?
Course tuition, accommodation for the duration of the course, daily breakfast, course materials, and one cultural activity. Flights and other meals are not included.
Can I apply through Erasmus+?
Yes — most of our participants attend through Erasmus+ KA1 mobility funding arranged by their school. See our Erasmus+ Guide page for details on how that works.
What should I pack?
Comfortable walking shoes are essential — several sessions take place outdoors on uneven terrain. Cappadocia has hot summers and cold winters, so check seasonal weather before you travel.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes, all participants receive a Certificate of Attendance and a Europass Mobility document on request, suitable for your school's professional development records.
How many people are in each course?
Groups are kept small, typically 10–16 participants, so that workshops stay hands-on and personal.
Can I bring a partner or colleague?
Yes. Let us know when you apply — we can usually arrange shared accommodation or a nearby booking for non-participants.
How do I pay?
Once your application is accepted, we'll send an invoice and payment instructions, including bank transfer details for schools paying via an Erasmus+ grant.
